The Sprezza House Cut draws its lineage from the great Neapolitan ateliers — Rubinacci, Attolini, Solito — but it is not a copy of any of them. Over years of fitting bodies in Bangkok's climate and pace of life, we have arrived at something distinctly our own: structured enough to hold a silhouette, soft enough to feel like nothing is there.
The 3-Roll-2 Lapel
The jacket's defining gesture. The lapel rolls naturally to the second button, never pressed flat, creating the signature Neapolitan softness at the chest.
Spalla Camicia
The shirt shoulder — gathered by hand at the sleeve head with no padding. It moves with you. The shoulder of the jacket becomes the shoulder of your body.
Full Canvas Chest
Horse hair canvas, hand-stitched through the chest. Over time it moulds entirely to your torso. A fused jacket starts stiff; ours begins to be yours from the first wearing.
Your Pattern on File
Your block is cut once, refined across your fittings, then archived. Every garment thereafter begins from that foundation. The second commission is easier; the tenth is effortless.
Most tailoring at this price point uses fusing — a heat-bonded interfacing that mimics structure but deadens the cloth. At Sprezza, every bespoke jacket is built on a floating canvas.
01 Floating Canvas
A layer of woven horse hair and linen is hand-stitched to the chest piece but left free at the edges — it floats. Unlike fusing, it responds to the natural movement of your body and over time takes the precise shape of your chest. The result is a jacket that drapes, rather than hangs.
02 Shirt Shoulder (Spalla Camicia)
The sleeve is set into a high, snug armhole and the excess fabric is gathered by hand into tiny pleats at the sleeve head. No padding, no shoulder extension. The result is a natural, mobile shoulder line — the defining visual mark of the Neapolitan school.
03 Extended Front Dart
A continuous dart runs from the chest all the way to the hem, creating a subtle but meaningful waist suppression. The silhouette is shaped without rigidity — the jacket reads as slim and considered without feeling constructed.
04 High Gorge & Open Lapel
The gorge — where the lapel meets the collar — sits higher than in British tailoring, lending the jacket a more elegant, contemporary proportion. The lapels are soft and wide, rolling naturally to the roll line rather than being pressed into submission.
05 Open Seam Lining
Neapolitan tradition often forgoes full lining in favour of seam piping or a half-lining, keeping the jacket light and breathable. For Bangkok's climate, this is not merely an aesthetic choice — it is the only sensible one.
