Founded in 1970 by hosiery veteran Mario Bresciani in Castiglione delle Stiviere, Italy, the company earned renown as the “Tailors of Socks” by blending artisanal tradition with technological innovation. Initially producing for other luxury labels—including Brioni and Canali—Bresciani launched its own branded socks in the 1980s, embracing noble yarns like Egyptian cotton, merino wool, cashmere, linen, and even vicuña .
